Content, Community, Compassion and Gift Registry for the Newly Uncoupled

Robin Smith and Heather Egan are co-Founders of Splitsvil.net.

We are two women who have been in Splitsvil with little more than the clothes on our backs, trying to find resources to help us start-over with dignity.

Simply put, nearly two-decades ago, Robin found herself getting divorced from her husband of over 20-years. With two boys to raise and limited means, Robin looked for resources to assist in her new journey. Unfortunately, the result of that search, was merely hungry attorneys and very little compassionate care. Further, she found herself with half the normal household necessities, especially tough with raising two boys!

Splitsvil – an online ecosystem for consumers who are getting a divorce or uncoupling (splitting up an unmarried household.)  We provide content, compassion, community, and a gift registry that people need during these unfortunate times.

The idea of Splitsvil emerged; however, at the time, the beginning stages of the internet and digital techniques were inadequate to reach this segment of the population (divorcees, newly separated, or recently uncoupled), Splitsvil came to a stand-still.

Heather went through a similar situation with seven years of marriage and two young kids in tow.

Now, over 20-years later, we are proud to launch Splitsvil – an online ecosystem for consumers who are getting a divorce or uncoupling (splitting up an unmarried household.)  We provide content, compassion, community, and a gift registry that people need during these unfortunate times. Spiltsvil is interactive and engages visitors so they can share information with each other and build a support system with friends, family and new contacts that are in a similar situation.

We are not attorneys nor provide any legal advice. Rather, we provide educational material and ideas that assist divorcees, newly separated or recently uncoupled individuals to help cope with their current situation as well as bounce back!

Splitsvil is designed to engage with divorcees, newly separated, or recently uncoupled individuals who need an unbiased, non-legal perspective on how to cope with their unfortunate situation and ultimately thrive! Our mission is to support women and men going through the emotional stages of separation, provide easy-to-read, quick tips and techniques via education content, offer a community for networking with others in similar domestic situations and ultimately provide a gift registry where family and friends can help individuals get back on their feet.
